About

I find what others miss,
and I say it out loud.

I am Tim Robinson: 20+ years in organisational transformation, and a builder of production AI systems. My useful trick is seeing structural patterns early, proving them quickly, and being direct about what I find. My equally useful limitation is that I get bored once the answer is proven, so every engagement is designed around teaching you and leaving.

The throughline

The jobs changed. The pattern never did: get close to how the work actually happens, find the constraint, build the proof, hand it over.

Royal Navy

Engineering training, and the habit of saying what is actually happening rather than what the room wants to hear.

Telecoms & a US patent

Named inventor on US Patent 8,792,873 during the Ubiquisys years, through to the Cisco acquisition. I have been building things that ship for a long time.

20+ years of transformation

Agile delivery, operating model design, and coaching across enterprises, scale-ups, and public sector. The patterns repeat; the logos change.

AI, built not briefed

Seven-plus production AI products of my own, several hundred people trained, AI Advisor in Residence at SETsquared Bath, and a co-authored field guide on the whole subject.

The Book

The Generative Organization

Co-authored with Bryan Cassady. A field guide for leaders navigating organisational transformation with AI — not theory, but practical patterns from practitioners who've done the work. Available free, because we care about people using the tools, not buying books they do nothing with.

Checkable, because the client work isn't

I never publish client names or traceable case studies; confidential means confidential. So the evidence on offer is public:

If something structural is stuck, let's talk.

A short conversation is usually enough to know whether I can help.
