Who we are

This website (agilist.co.uk) is operated by Tim Robinson, a UK-based AI consultant. For data protection purposes, Tim Robinson is the data controller.

What data we collect

Analytics (PostHog)

With your consent, we use PostHog to understand how visitors use the site. This includes page views, button clicks, and interaction events. PostHog may set cookies and collect your IP address, browser type, and device information.

Analytics are only activated after you accept cookies. If you decline, no tracking data is collected.

PostHog data is processed in the US. See PostHog's privacy policy.

AI Assistant (text and voice chat)

When you use the AI assistant, your messages are sent to OpenAI for processing. This includes:

• Text messages you type in the chat
• Audio from voice conversations (processed via OpenAI's Realtime API)

Your conversation history is stored in your browser's localStorage (up to 100 messages) so it persists between visits. This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers for storage. You can clear it at any time using the "Reset assistant" button.

We do not store your chat conversations on our servers. Messages are passed through to OpenAI in real time and are not logged.

Google Fonts

We load fonts (Inter and Plus Jakarta Sans) from Google Fonts. This means your browser makes requests to Google's servers, which may log your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.

Booking (Calendly)

When you click a booking link, you are taken to Calendly. We do not share any data with Calendly until you choose to book. Any information you provide on Calendly is governed by Calendly's privacy policy.

Lawful basis for processing

• Consent — Analytics tracking (PostHog) only runs after you accept cookies.
• Legitimate interest — Processing chat messages through OpenAI to provide the AI assistant service you've chosen to use.
• Legitimate interest — Loading fonts for site functionality.

Data retention

• Analytics — Retained by PostHog per their data retention policies.
• Chat history — Stored in your browser until you clear it. Not retained on our servers.
• Voice data — Processed in real time by OpenAI. Not stored by us.

International transfers

Data processed by PostHog and OpenAI may be transferred to and stored in the United States. Both services maintain appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Rectify inaccurate personal data
• Erase your personal data
• Restrict or object to processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time (for analytics, click "Manage cookies" in the site footer)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
